The following pictures show something that literally gives us Northern Californian folks a warm feeling: firewood stacked and ready for the upcoming season. My wife approaches the task of stacking wood with a zeal usually reserved for art installations, and her work is quite impressive. The tarps used to protect them for the rain are pulled back in these shots to allow the future wood stove fuel to dry.
I feel warmer already!
