Sick, sick, sick . . . .

This insane healthcare debate has highlighted (at least for me) how little the well-being of the majority of the American people means to any of the principles in this situation. It fact, the American people, who are the ones most affected by the way this all turns out, aren't even considered principles in the process. The insurance companies, the healthcare industry, and the government all fight over minutiae, and the lives of all those folks who die without healthcare hang in the balance. We will have to live with whatever the outcome is, but we have little voice in the matter.

Oh, and by the way, the problem here is not a lack of health insurance, but a lack of health CARE. Am I wrong?
