When turkeys attack!

My wife and I decided to take a walk down our lane before dinner this evening, and we encountered a wild turkey that has bee hanging out at the corner.

He became a bit aggressive towards us, and started following us as we were trying to get around him.

Here he kept circling my wife, making strange turkey sounds. I walked further away and he followed me until I walked across the main cross street at the entrance to our lane. My wife went and got her truck and came back to pick me up. We weren't particularly scared of him (though turkeys do have some pretty wicked spurs), but we didn't want him following us home.

Here's a video of the beastie. He may have been mad at us for eating one of his cousins at Thanksgiving . . . . Or maybe it was trying to make a statement about Sarah Palin?
