There is nothing wrong with your television set . . .

Yeah, I'm still here. After going to see my stepdaughter and grand daughter, I took an unscheduled break in regular blogging, which is perfectly okay, as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes, I sit down at the key board and absolutely nothing seems worth writing about. Or at least I have nothing to say. It's kind of like leaving your camera behind when you go on vacation, simply because you're tired of looking at life through that little goddamn viewfinder.

Work has been a P.I.T.A. lately. I work at a nonprofit, and if you've ever worked at such an entity, I'm sure you know why it gets sort of SHITTY once in a while. While I am paid a fraction of what anyone at a normal business would get for doing my job, I'm treated like I should be happy to do even more, working beyond the hours I'm paid for and given virtually no appreciation. If I sound a bit perturbed, it's because I am!

But, seeing my grand daughter was absolutely wonderful. She was so happy to see her grandma and me. And she shows just how she feels with all the honesty of a four year old. What a blessing in my life!

I even have been giving the camera to her sometimes:

She's starting to get the hang of it.

I gave her a They Might Be Giants kids CD called "No!", and she totally loves it. The best part is getting to act out the songs with her, and helping her do flips to the music. And it's great that she likes music, especially stuff I like too!

It's so great to see them, but the hard part, as you can guess, is having to leave.

Now I'll be going away for a couple of days again, going to a class I'm taking to change my livelihood. So, posts will be on hold again for a bit. See ya in a day or two!
