(Via UPI)LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) --The Dixie Chicks won Song of the Year honor with "Not Ready to Make Nice" at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday."Thank you for sticking by me" said the trio's outspoken singer Natalie Maines, whose criticism of President George W. Bush during the lead-up to the war in Iraq cost them fans. "We are very, very appreciative and honored."
Now that's good to hear. People who were right about Bush and his war getting an award. Hey, it ain't the Medal of Freedom, but it ain't too shabby.
