Not that you care . . . .

Busy, busy weekend. Two classes I had to go out of town for, then back for a short day and off again today for another class. This changing your life shit is hard.

I just was interrupted by an automated call from "Dorothy at the Mortgage Branch." Do people really refi their homes due to unsolicited robo calls? I'm just asking . . . .

Anyway, I'll try to get some stuff up when I get back.

Oh, and here's a doozy for you, via American Prospect:

OUR PRESIDENT.
President Bush turned in an all-around awesome performance
in his "60 Minutes" interview last night. It's very much worth reading
in full, but here's one early highlight:

PELLEY: Do you think you owe the Iraqi people an apology for not doing a better job?

BUSH: That we didn't do a better job or they didn't do a better job?

PELLEY: Well, that the United States did not do a better job in providing security after the invasion.

BUSH: Not at all. I am proud of the efforts we did. We liberated that country
from a tyrant. I think the Iraqi people owe the American people a huge
debt of gratitude, and I believe most Iraqis express that. I mean, the
people understand that we've endured great sacrifice to help them.
That's the problem here in America. They wonder whether or not there is
a gratitude level that's significant enough in Iraq.

Very nice. Also good to know the president has a handle on what's really bothering the American people about the war.
Yeah, that's it. Maybe one of those cute little thank you cards, or a poster with the cat hanging from the branch saying "Hang in there Baby!", signed by all the people in Iraq. At least, the ones we haven't killed or driven out. Ah, our President. What a morally corrupt little fool.
