Crooked Still: A new slant on bluegrass

I haven't written anything about music for a while, so here's something for you. I HIGHLY reccommend a group by the name of Crooked Still. They are doing a new type of bluegrass which is utterly amazing, and brings the form fully into the 21st Century, along with groups like Nickle Creek and Gillian Welch. There's no mandolin in this group (bluegrass heresy right there), and they incorporate a cello into the mix, but it is straight ahead wonderful stuff. Crooked Still is Aoife O'Donovan: vocals, Rushad Eggleston: cello, Dr. Gregory Liszt : banjo, and Corey DiMario: bass, and they kick some serious ass! Check them out at there site, and here some of their music here.
