Outrage Overload

What is there to say lately about the state of this crazy world? We seem to live in a time where there is so much insane, repugnant stuff happening that it is hard to keep track of it. I mean, come on; with the sad state of health care in America, massacres in Iraq, rising bigotry and jingoism, and gas prices seeming to have bid less-than-$3.00-a-gallon goodbye, what does our fearless leader spend a whole speech talking about? A Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage! Now there's an important issue to spend time and energy on! Thank god the senate rejected it, but why waste time on such hateful nonsense?

Oh, that's right . . . the midterm elections are coming up this year . . . .
