Not in my name

Why is it that when people are acquitted by trial, such as O. J. Simpson or Casey Anthony, certain people refuse to believe it and see it as a "failure of the system," but when a possibly innocent person is put to death like Troy Davis, the same folks think that is just great? Our country can't fix infrastructure or get people back to work, but we can still kill people real good.
