Stumping the birds

The weather has been a bit chilly for this area lately (in the 20s at night, and barely into the 40s during the days), so we here at the birdhaus have been putting some seed out on a stump for our feathered friends. They seem to appreciate it, especially the jays and the acorn woodpeckers.

The ravens usually make an appearance too, but they were scarce on this particular day. I'll try to catch some of them next time.
