Backyard bunny visits the birdhaus

I was in our lower cabin exercising when I spotted a rabbit from the window in front of my pneumatic stepper. He seemed blithely unaware of me, so I got my camera and got closer.

He started sensing my presence and began looking a little skittish. I tried to become invisible, or at least LESS visible.

I crept below where he was searching the grass for items of interest, and was able to get fairly close . . . .

. . . but he spotted me!
Oh well, the critters around here know better than to mess with humans. My wife was particularly miffed when she heard about my encounter, as this big-eared varmint can decimate all her work in our garden. I only shoot them with my camera, though.
