There was a break in our much needed rainfall yesterday, so I took a walk around our backyard to check out the progress towards Spring. This is the pond on the property where we live, covered with green from the surrounding trees:
And this is some of the evidence of a bumper crop of frogs coming this year. There were a lot of these gelatinous blobs of frog eggs clinging to various underwater anchors. I love the sound of frogs on a Summer night, and it looks like this year we will have quite a chorus!
