Isn't it still January?

The weather the last few days has been gorgeous, with the temperature hitting the mid-seventies here where I live---unheard of during this time of the year! Last weekend I was in Sausalito, and this was the sight that greeted me as the full moon rose over the hills:

Of course, our backyard is starting to burst with new life:

Yep, it's still winter! Quite a spectacular start to our yet-to-arrive spring.
