The home stretch

It's freaking' December, for crissake! We're coming up on the end of the Bush travesty, and the end of 2008. Amazing!

It's been a year of turmoil and change for me. It seems to be coming to more of an upswing, as I got news yesterday that I have booked my first voice over job! The years of learning and practicing are finally starting to pay off. I am so grateful to have been able to reach this point, and now I am going to "keep on trudgin'", as I see where this new adventure leads me.

I know my blogging has been sporadic at best lately, but I feel like I am being as consistent as I can be. This is a little hobby, after all, and it is not meant to be something that becomes a chore or a burden. If it ever becomes those things, I am outta here!

Anyway, for the few folks who read these missives, I am very happy to report things are looking up. And while the economy may be in the crapper, this dude is very optimistic.
