A report from our Maryland correspondent

I visited quite a few people in Maryland on my recent vacation trip back there, one of whom I have known since our days in the Cub Scouts together, Billy. He went to see a concert recently at a local club there by my other friend Tony's band, Electric Food. Here's his review:
I went to see the Electric Food last Saturday. They had a good beat, and easy to dance to. The Braddock Inn had delicious food. The service was very slow. I guess they were not prepared for the crowd. There had to be at least 100 people there. The band played as long as they were allowed. Their special guest was great. I would be surprised if you don't hear or see her on the country western circuit soon. Electric Food plays their own original music, which is why I did not recognize any of the songs. Some of their tunes did take on some popular songs, but the music was completely different. The singer, Tom had a voice similar to Jim Morrison, strong and deep. I could hardly hear Tony's instrument over the rest of the band. But they were great! They sound like they have played together for some time. The band was tight and were able to feed off each other as they performed. I signed up on their mailing list, so as to follow their schedule.
Thanks Billy! I only wish I could have been there to see the performance. If you're ever in the Braddock, MD area, you might want to see if Electric Food is plugged in.
