A walk in the backyard:

It's still January, but after the slamming we got early in the month, a bit of sun is enough to get me out and taking pictures around our backyard:

Looks like this plant's going to make a break for it.

The reflection in the gazing ball is a self portrait.

Yep, I even fired up the old grill and cooked up some dinner!

New growth this time of year almost looks fake, but I assure you it is real!

I did play around with this shot some in iPhoto (as the sun sinks slowly in the west.)
